Meeting and Chatting online is easy and FUN, and best of all, you can do it with your cup of coffee & fuzzy slippers on! Just follow the simple instructions below to connect and then sit back and read what others are saying and type your questions, comments and observations, but most of all, have fun visiting with your Community Chat friends.

To use this chat, you will need to have a Flash player installed. If you don't have one, you can download it here: 

FIRST TIME Community Chat users

You will need to register with a name and password.  You will only need to do this ONCE.  When you return for future visits, just remember to login with the same user name and password.

1. Click here to register your name and password.  All other information is optional. Click "Save"

2. Click the "Start FlashChat" Button

3. On the right, you will see a list of the people currently chatting in the main room, and below them, a list of other Rooms or Topics you may want to join.

4. To speak, type in the box at the bottom, and then hit the "Enter" key or click the "Send" button to the right of the box on the screen.

5.  If you have any questions, ask someone with an beside their name on the list.

RETURNING Community Chat members

1. Go to the login page.

2. Type in your previously registered name or nick

3. Type in your password

4. Click the Login button.

5. On the right, you will see a list of the people currently chatting in the main room, and below them, a list of other Rooms or Topics you may want to join.

6. To speak, type in the box at the bottom, and then hit the "Enter" key or click the "Send" button to the right of the box on the screen.

7.  If you have any questions, ask someone with an beside their name on the list.

Advanced Options

1. The chat will remember any setting and option changes you make and will apply them the next time you log in with the same name and password.

2. To customize sounds or icons beside your name, click on the "Options" button, and then choose "Sounds" or "Effects"

3. You can add all kinds of Smilies to your text by clicking on the "Smilies" button and choosing the one you want.
